Often it seems we are great ones for being pro-active. We are always for looking for what we should be doing - and we are very good at committees, working parties, task groups and such like.
Sometimes what we need to do is just be there. Sometimes we call this presence evangelism, but I like also thinking about a theology of loitering. Loitering with intent - in a Christian sense - is something that is often good to do.
Perhaps we should think more about this - and really develop a theology of loitering.
